ME 3504: DYNAMIC SYSTEMS - VIBRATION

Principles of dynamic system modeling with emphasis on second order mechanical systems. Harmonic and nonharmonic vibrations of single and multi-degree of freedom systems. Applications of computer simulation and analysis techniques in vibrations.

ME 5654: MODELING AND SIMULATION OF MULTIBODY SYSTEMS

Kinematic and dynamic analysis of planar and spatial multibody systems, including: joint formulations, dependent coordinates, kinematic and driving constraints, EOM for planar systems in variational form and in differential form, EOM for spatial systems in Newton-Euler form and in Euler parameters form, inverse dynamics, numerical methods for solving DAE.
