HEVT at the State Fair of Virginia

This fall from September, 25 until October, 8, the Hybrid Electric Team of Virginia Tech traveled to Richmond, VA to participate in the State Fair of Virginia with the Virginia Tech College of Engineering and the Joseph F. Ware Advanced Engineering Laboratory. This event presented the REVLSE Equinox to over 250,000 fair guests and 16,000 K-12 students. The team was able to hand out hundreds of “Live Green, Go Yellow” pamphlets and several other materials related to Virginia Tech and Challenge X. Virginia governor Tim Kaine visited the fair as well and stopped by to see our vehicle, discussing the future of hybrids and the specific technologies we had employed.
