Chuanliang Shen received his PhD in mechanical engineering from Jilin University of China in 2006. He is an associate professor of Jilin University. Currently, he is a visiting scholar (postdoctoral) in the department of mechanical engineering at Virginia Tech. He is working at Center for Vehicle Systems and Safety. His research interests include the piezoelectric and magneto-rheological devices, the research of smart structures in automotive applications, active & passive vibration control.
