Shawn grew up in a small farm town outside of Rock Hill, SC. In his childhood he developed a passion for cars, tractors, ATV’s and nearly anything that had an engine. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University in May 2008. While at Clemson, he had the opportunity to work for the Nevada Automotive Test Center as an engineering intern. In his free time he enjoys watching college sports, mountain biking, hiking and hunting. He currently supports Dr. Southward in the Performance Engineering Research Lab.
