Alireza obtained his BSc. in Mechanical Engineering, Solids design in 2005 from Shiraz University, Iran. He was awarded the A*STAR scholarship from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2005. After finishing his Master of Engineering at NTU in 2007, he joined the Center for Vehicle Systems and Safety (CVeSS) at Virginia Tech and now he is a research assistant and PhD student at this center. His research area is Magneto-Rheological Hybrid Dampers.
