Welcome to the AEThER Lab.

We are active in research across a wide range of topics, including:

  • Diagnostic methods and sensors for fluid mechanics
  • Biomedical fluid mechanics
  • Biological and bio-inspired fluid mechanics
  • Multiphase flows
  • Bluff body wakes and flow structure interactions
  • Turbulent shear flows and shear flow control
Our group includes undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, and faculty conducting fundamental and translational research of thermofluid sciences and mechanics across interdisciplinary interfaces.
